Security

Once you are connected to the Abjects IRC Network you should at least be aware of the risk you might be in, like on any other network.

All Abjects Staff are responsible for the network security and provide a clean and safe environment for the network's users. They try to keep away spammers or even flood bots, provide stable and reliable servers for the network and most of all, protect all users' information by keeping it secure. Access to all users' information is restricted - only abjects Staff such as Services Administrators/Operators are granted access.

On your side, you should NOT click on any site/link that's being spammed on a network channel or in private message and NOT accept DCC's from ANYONE you don't know, because there is most likely a virus hidden. In case of channel flood, its better to moderate it by using the +m mode and report the flood to an oper.

We accept NO responsibility to what ever may happen to you or your computer while connecting to this Network. We reserve the right to remove you from our servers without a previous warning or notice and for any reason we see fit in order to protect the network.

IRC is a privilege, NOT a Right!

Regards,

Abjects Staff.
